Well, that’s the
Pathfinder over for another year!
We hope those of you who rode enjoyed the event – I think it went pretty well.
In the end we had a full entry, an extended 6.5 mile course and amazing
weather. All of that at the superb Bagshot venue was recipe for a great days
riding (in my opinion!).
As ever, we tried to make a few tweaks to improve the event – the most
significant this year was the introduction of electronic timing for the checks
and special tests.
You may not have not noticed, but the timing team (Manny and Paula from
TidyTiming) also picked up the manual input of all the section scores ( that’s
4000 scores) as well as the event timing, with draft results published on
Sunday night. I imagine many of you have already seen the results on the
Nomads Facebook page, but if not, check www.tidytiming.com As ever with this
event we have been picking up a few anomalies as they come to light.
There were some pretty impressive rides, but overall winner (once again ) was
Gus Oblein and the only rider to go clean in the sections.
Thanks to the nearly 40 officials and helpers we had from multiple local clubs
. We could not have put this event on without such great support.
See you next year!
