Nomads Summer Evening Club Trials – Ellisons Canyon, Thatcham – tomorrow!.

We will be running a CTC /Practice evening trial on Thursday – 25/6/26. We may also run a second one on 9/7/26 but that’s TBC at present

The Team ( Mostly Haines and Bathes’ I think) have been working hard clearing the undergrowth from sections and parking areas. It’s going to be warm, but parking and the sections are in the shade. 

The venue will be Ellisons Woodlands near Thatcham – nearest post code RG19 8BW. What3words location: ///breathy.carpeted.short  Access is from the Crookham Hill side.

Start anytime from 5pm onwards to finish by dusk please

All the usual classes will be catered for (Adult A, B. C routes plus Trail, Pre-65 and Yth A, B & C where route choice is optional). 3 Routes on the easier side for ‘C’ especially. Toilet tent provided.

Like all the 2025 club trials, this event will be run under the AMCA. Entries will be on the the day – £10 Adults, Youth £5.   Nomads membership ( if required) Adults £5,Youth £3,Family £7.    Bring cash or a cheque

These trials are intended as a fun or practice evening ride and won’t be part of the 2026 Club Championship.

We will be using normal self-mark punchcard system, but marking is not compulsory..
