| After our summer break the Nomads will be returning with our club trials championship. This Saturday is Round 4 of our club trials championship which will be held at Barlows Pit, Hermitage on Saturday, 24th October. This is a great piece of trials land with some big climbs and quite sandy so holds up well if its wet. There will be sections suited for all. The trial starts at 11am . START / VENUE: Barlows Pit is south of Hermitage on the B4009. Nearest post code is RG18 9LT. Turn in at Dallas Motors and follow arrows (what3words ///holdings.demanding.inches ) Access to venue will be open from 10am CLASSES/ENTRIES: All the usual classes will be catered for (Adult A, B. C routes plus Trail, Pre-65 and Yth A, B & C where route choice is optional). Like all the 2026 club trials, this event will be run under the AMCA. Nomads plan to return to action for CTC Round 4, probably at Barlows Pit , Hermitage, on Saturday 24th October followed by Sunday 29th November at the Pickling Yards, Mortimer for our ACU Open to Centre Trial.
The November trial will be All classes, 3 routes, to include the final round of the Southern Centre Classic/Twinshock/Pre 65 Series as well as points for the Nomads CTC Series.
This will be entries via Sports80 by preference, although day entry licences will be available.

We will be running a CTC /Practice evening trial on Thursday – 25/6/26. We may also run a second one on 9/7/26 but that’s TBC at present
The Team ( Mostly Haines and Bathes’ I think) have been working hard clearing the undergrowth from sections and parking areas. It’s going to be warm, but parking and the sections are in the shade.
The venue will be Ellisons Woodlands near Thatcham – nearest post code RG19 8BW. What3words location: ///breathy.carpeted.short Access is from the Crookham Hill side.
Start anytime from 5pm onwards to finish by dusk please
All the usual classes will be catered for (Adult A, B. C routes plus Trail, Pre-65 and Yth A, B & C where route choice is optional). 3 Routes on the easier side for ‘C’ especially. Toilet tent provided.
Like all the 2025 club trials, this event will be run under the AMCA. Entries will be on the the day – £10 Adults, Youth £5. Nomads membership ( if required) Adults £5,Youth £3,Family £7. Bring cash or a cheque
These trials are intended as a fun or practice evening ride and won’t be part of the 2026 Club Championship.
We will be using normal self-mark punchcard system, but marking is not compulsory..

Pathfinder 3 Stage trial – 2026
RESULTS
The 2026 Pathfinder 3 Stage trial once again ran at Bagshot D1/2 on the 7th June. We were blessed with perfect conditions and and a final starting list of 83 riders.
This year we ran with the support of the North Camp Enduro Club and included a round of the ACU Trail Bike LDT Championship, incorporating the TRF Trophy.
I think it’s safe to say a good day was had by all!

A warm, sunny day greeted 22 riders for the 3rd round of the Nomads club trials championship. Results below…
Our next event will be the Pathfinder 3 stage at Bagshot on the 7th June – as ever, we are always on the lookout for marshals and observers, so let Ian or Brice know if you can help!
