Perfect conditions greeted the disappointing small entry at Barlows Pit near Hermitage for the Round 5 of the Nomads CtC championship. Reynard visited the site the week before to set out 10 varied sections on the sandy banks of the pit.
The 5th and final round of the Nomads club trial championships will be this coming Saturday at Barlows Pit near Hemitage. As usual Start will be 11am.

A great days riding at the 2017 Pathfinder. Superb weather and a great course meant the full entry had a hugely enjoyable event. General feedback was that every one had a great time. The only shame was that the Pathfinder is the only remaining 3 Stage now. Maybe the success of this one will inspire other clubs to run a 3 Stage.
Massive thanks to all the marshals and organisers who ran the event. The Pathfinder requires a lot of observers, so without them it wouldn’t happen.
Also thanks to all the rider who turned out. we were actually turning away entries in the preceding weeks. Well done to the class winners. NB: If you receive the posted copy of the results, we spotted a mistake to second place in EN C after posting. Corrected here.

See you all next year!
Results attached for Round 4 at Ellison’s Canyon – 4th March 2017
Following a wet lead up to the trial, the weather was better on Saturday with only a shower in the afternoon. Although muddy, the sections held up well for the 17 riders that turned out. (A considerable improvement on the few we had there last year).
Thanks go to Reynard Norris and Dave Barrett for laying out a good course in very wet conditions the day before.
